Vietnam Evangelical Covenant Church – The 7th Men’s Breakthrough Camp, held from October 8 to 10, 2026 under the theme “Standing Firm,” has come to a close. The three days of camp are over, but the memorable moments, the brotherhood, and the commitments made before God will continue in the life of every man who attended.

ToggleFrom “Living Without Regret” to “Standing Firm”
This year’s theme was announced at the 2025 camp, “Living Without Regret.” If last year was a journey of breaking free from what held men back and being restored, this year was the next step: after healing, men need to be built up so they can stand firm for the long run. A fire that blazes for a few days at camp is precious, but a steady life over many years is what God truly desires.
“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Why a Men’s Breakthrough Camp Matters
Many men carry heavy responsibilities at work and at home, yet rarely have a place to slow down, be honest, and be strengthened in their faith. The Men’s Breakthrough Camp was created to be that place: a few days set apart to hear God’s Word, to worship together, and to be surrounded by brothers who will pray for them. Over the years, the camp has helped many men take their next step with Jesus, from those who are just beginning to explore faith to those who have served in the church for a long time.
A Meaningful Camp
The church thanks God for a camp where every man could connect with others, renew his faith, and grow stronger in the Lord. The times of worship, the messages, the small group sharing, and the fellowship helped many brothers take an honest look at the foundation of their lives: are they building on the rock or on the sand?
What made the camp so valuable was not only what was taught, but the brotherhood that was formed. Men who usually share very little had the opportunity to open their hearts, pray for one another, and commit to walking together after the camp.
Standing Firm in Four Areas
The closing charge of the Men’s Breakthrough Camp was for every man to carry the fire of breakthrough back to his family, his church, and his everyday life, specifically:
- Strong in faith: keeping a steady rhythm of reading the Bible, praying, and gathering with the church.
- Responsible in the family: loving his wife, teaching his children, and being an example at home.
- Faithful in service: taking up his role in the church and serving with perseverance.
- Supporting one another: no one stands firm alone; brothers need each other to become the men God wants them to be.
These four areas are simple, but they are not easy. Standing firm is rarely about one big decision; it is about many small acts of faithfulness repeated week after week. That is why the camp encouraged every man to find at least one brother he can meet with, pray with, and be honest with in the months ahead.
The Camp Is Over, but the Journey Continues
After seven years, the Men’s Breakthrough Camp has become a familiar milestone in the calendar of men at our church and at partner churches. Yet the organizing team always reminds everyone that the goal of the camp is not the camp itself. The goal is transformed lives, families that are built up, and spiritual leaders raised up for the church.
The camp has ended, but the breakthrough journey continues. May every man remain steadfast, immovable, and wholehearted in the work of the Lord.
Pray for the Men of Our Church
- Ask God to help the brothers keep the commitments they made at camp.
- Ask God to restore and build up families through the change in husbands and fathers.
- Ask God to raise up faithful men who are willing to carry responsibility in the church.
